Malaysians are in for a treat this National Day, as Pocky introduces a brand-new flavour inspired by a local delight – Cendol. The exclusive to Malaysia only flavour will have the classic Pocky sticks coated with Cendol infused cream.

Originated from Japan, the irresistible snack, has elevated the lives of Malaysians through its diverse portfolio of flavours that can be enjoyed with friends, family, and co-workers – anyone, anytime, anywhere. The exclusive Cendol flavour comes in as a token of appreciation towards Malaysians for their support and loyalty throughout the years.


Cendol has become a quintessential part of the Malaysian lifestyle. Made from a mound of coarsely shaved ice, topped with green coloured pandan jelly, drizzled with coconut milk and palm sugar – the iconic dessert is the first thing that comes in the mind of Malaysians on a sweltering afternoon.

“Cendol is prepared differently in many parts of Malaysia – each state has its own unique recipe. However, the urge and common thought of savouring the dessert shared among the locals inspired us to develop the flavour. We knew this was a flavour that truly embodies the Malaysian culture,” said Candice Teng, Marketing Executive at Glico Malaysia.

The new Pocky Cendol can be found at all convenience stores and major supermarkets nationwide while stocks last. All Pocky products manufactured in Thailand are Halal certified.
